Paul Lukacovic retired from the Bureau of Land Management two years ago after a 32 year career as a Land Surveyor.  While with the BLM he conducted dependent resurveys and mineral resurveys in four western states but most of his time was with the BLM Colorado State Office.  Paul spent his last years as the Office Section Chief and Geographic Coordinate DataBase (GCDB) Manager where he successfully integrated the GCDB data into a GIS and started automating the Cadastral records and making the original survey plats electronically available.

Days after Paul left the BLM, he pursued a long time dream to hike the entire 2650 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail from the Mexican border to Canada.  Along the way he encountered desert heat, miles without water, snow covered mountain passes, treacherous stream crossings, bone soaking rain, snow storms, beautiful views, and amazing people.  Come join him as he talks about his experience and shares his photos from a once in a lifetime adventure.
